"Can I become a postpartum doula if I've never worked as a doula before?"

Absolutely.

In fact, many of our most successful postpartum doulas never imagined this work would become part of their story.

Some began as teachers. Others spent years supporting families as nannies, healthcare professionals, therapists, social workers, educators, caregivers, or newborn care specialists. Some cared for older adults. Some raised children of their own. Some simply found themselves repeatedly drawn toward helping others through life's most meaningful transitions.
